What we build

What goes where.

Most of our work is hard landscaping: the paving, steps, walls and fences that give a property its shape. Pick anything on the list to see where it sits on a plot, and one we’ve built.

The front

Make an entrance.

Driveways, entrances and the walls either side. It’s the first part of a property anyone sees and the part that takes the most wear, so what goes underneath matters as much as what goes on top.

Every detail was considered, from the layout and lines through to the edging and the final finish. Practical, built to last, and it changes how the whole house looks from the road.

Nine years apart, and the same words.

Three reviews on Yell, all five stars. The oldest is from October 2011, the newest from October 2020.

October 2011

Mr March and his team did an absolutely first-class job on my drive and trees in the rear garden. Very friendly, extremely reliable and offered us practical advice and great ideas. Left our garden impeccably clean and took the effort to check in with us a few weeks later to see if everything was still alright. Would highly recommend.

We used Whitemarch last year. The team of workers were excellent. Friendly and helpful. They cleaned everything away after the work was done. Just the best. We will use them anytime and recommend them highly.

Whitemarch have just completed the rebuilding of two patios and part of my driveway. From start to finish, a very professional and high standard of work and attention to detail. The work was completed promptly and only slightly delayed due to rainfall. I do not hesitate to recommend them for the type of work they specialise in. They were polite, pleasant and helpful throughout their time on site. First class workmanship at a competitive cost.

White marking paint on a lawn showing the outline of a new terrace, with bags of materials stacked ready
Epsom Downs, 2023. The new terrace and steps marked out on the lawn.

About Whitemarch

It starts with white lines on the lawn.

Before anything is dug, the new layout is marked out on the ground, so you can stand in your garden and see where the terrace stops and the steps land. Then it’s the dig, the base, the laying and the clear-up.

Whitemarch is a landscape construction company based in Epsom, Surrey. Customers have been reviewing our work since 2011, and they tend to mention the same things: the standard of the finish, a friendly team, and a site left clean.
